The Website facilitates introductions only. We do not manage payments, disputes, deliveries, or condition checks of any items listed. By using the Website, you acknowledge you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.

2. Acceptance

2.2

We may update these Terms at our sole discretion. Updates take effect when posted on the Website.

3. Services

3.1

To use the Services, Sellers and Buyers must register and provide accurate, up-to-date details. We store:

For Sellers:

Business Name, ABN/ACN
Contact Name, Phone, Email, Full Address

For Buyers:

Full Name, Email, Phone, Full Address

Visible public info:

First name, last initial, suburb only.

3.2

You must protect your login details and notify us of any breach. You must not share your account.

3.3

You may only use the Website for legal purposes. You must not:

Impersonate another user
Harass or threaten others
Publish offensive or unlawful content
Circumvent or misuse the platform

We use automatic detection to monitor listings for phone numbers or contact details. Violation may result in removal or permanent ban.

4. Listings, Fees & Payments

4.1

Parts Requests (Buy & Sell Auto Parts)

Sellers (Providers) pay a 7% fee per successful part sale (subject to change with notice).
Buyers (Receivers) pay a 3% fee per successful part transaction to cover secure processing, handling, and platform operation.

All fees for parts requests are non-refundable. Any refunds for a part sale or cancellation must be arranged directly between the Seller and Buyer.

Refund Responsibility:

If a refund is agreed due to an issue at the Seller's end (e.g. out-of-stock parts, wrong or damaged item), the Seller must accept responsibility for all fees paid by both parties for that transaction.
If a refund is agreed due to an issue at the Buyer's end (e.g. change of mind or order error), the Buyer must accept responsibility for all fees paid by both parties for that transaction.

Motor Connection does not directly process or hold refund payments for parts requests.

4.2

Vehicle Listings

Listing a standard vehicle ad is free for all users. Sellers may choose to upgrade their ad to reach more buyers:

Premium Ad — $49

Ultimate Ad — $79

Additional optional add-ons are available for purchase to increase exposure or add features (such as homepage spotlight, social media boost, or featured listing placement).

All upgrade and add-on fees for vehicle listings are non-refundable.

4.3

All payments are processed through approved payment gateways (e.g., Stripe). Motor Connection does not hold, or refund funds related to part sales or vehicle ad upgrades, except as required by law.

5. Disputes

5.1

All disputes are to be resolved directly between Buyer and Seller.

5.2

If not resolved, you may contact the Fair Work Ombudsman or relevant consumer protection body.

5.3

Motor Connection will not mediate or manage disputes and is not liable for refund outcomes.

6. Privacy

6.1

By using the Website you agree to our Privacy Policy:

We collect Registration Data and store it securely.
We do not publish full personal details.
We may use your info to improve our services.
We may contact you for verification or reviews.
You can request to view, correct or delete your data.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1

9. Liability & Disclaimer

9.1

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
We are not liable for lost, incorrect, or damaged parts, late delivery, or non-delivery.
We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Motor Connection, its staff, directors and agents against any claim, cost, loss, or damage arising from:

11. Dispute Resolution

A party claiming a dispute must notify the other with details and desired outcome.

11.2

Within 14 days of notice, parties must attempt to resolve in good faith.

11.3

If unresolved within 30 days, parties must attempt mediation through an independent mediator agreed by both sides.

11.4

If mediation fails after 90 days, either party may commence legal proceedings.

11.5

12. Governing Law & Venue
